South Yosemite Street and East Belleview Avenue - Southeast
East Alameda Avenue to South Havana Street and South to East Mississippi Avenue
Parker Road (Leetsdale Parkway) South to Mississippi Avenue East to Dayton Street
North Yosemite Street and East Montview Boulevard
North Tower Road and East 56th Avenue (DIA not included)
North Sheridan Boulevard and East 56th Avenue to North Quebec Street
Sheridan Boulevard South to Quincy Avenue
Zone II ($105.00 per bus) Transportation to:
North Yosemite Street & Montview Blvd. east to I-225
I-225 South to Yosemite Street Aurora, Cherry Creek Schools and Reservoir (If bus remains cost may increase).
I-25 South to Arapahoe Road, Arapahoe Road West to Broadway, Includes Greenwood Village and portions of the City of Englewood and School District
Sheridan Boulevard West to Simms Street, North to 52nd Avenue or South to Belleview Avenue - Includes portions of Jefferson County Schools, and portions of the City of Lakewood
South Federal Boulevard and Yale Avenue South to Belleview Avenue
Zone III ($210.00 per bus) Transportation to:
I-70 and Tower Road/Pena Boulevard North to Denver International Airport *, Quincy Reservoir, Aurora Reservoir, Plains Conservation Denver, Buckley ANG Base, I-25 and Arapahoe Road South to E470 and C470 East to Parker Road and West to I070. Includes Chatfield Reservoir, Littleton School District, Red Rocks, Morrison, CO, the Hog Back, and Soda Lakes Road North.
Simms avenue West to Golden, CO, Lookout Mountain, Arvada, Portions of Jefferson County Schools, Wheatridge, Portions of the City of Lakewood, CO.
Zone IV ($315.00 per bus) Transportation to:
I-70 West to Clear Creek Canyon, I-285 South to Tiny Town, Evergreen, Central City/Blackhawk, Georgetown, Mountain trips requiring special equipment that may not be available.
I-25 South to Castle Rock, Franktown, Elizabeth, I-70 East to Bennett Air Park Road
I-25 North to Highway 36 West to Boulder
I-25 North to Northglenn, Thornton, Westminster, Broomfield, Rocky Flats or 130th Ave.
Zone V ($420.00 per bus) Transportation to:
Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Balarat, Greeley, Estes Park, Etc.
Zone VI - Actual Cost
Pueblo, Frisco, Dillon or trips 100 miles and beyond will be actual cost to include the following: fuel, maintenance, insurance, driver salary, parking, motel, food, etc. Over and back trips (when the bus does not stay with the activity) are charged as two round trips plus the driver's time when appropriate. This type of scheduling is used only when we can save money or if transportation needs the bus back in the district to cover its scheduled rout obligations or by school request. If transportation initiates the over and back trip, the trip will be charged as one round trip. All weekend and Holiday Trips are actual cost. When the trip requires paid parking or a paid entry fee, the fee must be paid by the sponsor.
Special consideration on the cost may be given to schools upon special request and when considerations such as closet to locations such as Kaiser Elementary to Southwest Plaza, or Martin Luther King to Denver International Airport.
Actual Cost Zone VII -
Actual Cost Schools needing buses for After School Activities will be charged the operating cost for the driver and the bus. This includes mileage and driver costs.
