Our 2025-26 School Year focus are:
To advise and make recommendations to the Board of Education and the Superintendent
To communicate the needs of students, parents, and the community to the Denver Public Schools
AEAC is looking for people to join our effort!
Consideration is given to the following criteria when selecting individuals for membership on the council (Board of Education Resolution 2260):
Interest in improving educational opportunities for students
Sincere interest in the welfare of students and quality education
Community involvement
Knowledge of the components of the community
Flexibility (ability to consider alternative courses of action)
Ability to function effectively as a team member, as well as a leader
Ability to stimulate others to become interested and involved
How often does AEAC meet?
AEAC meets on the first Wednesday of each month at one of our schools.
How else can I get involved?
AEAC kindly welcomes sponsors and in-kind contributions to help support our Annual Awards Ceremony and Career Daze Programs.
