When Multilingual Learners’ home schools do not provide Multilingual Education (MLE) services, students are eligible to attend MLE zone schools to receive services. DPS Transportation will support this effort by providing service for transportation-eligible students, who elect MLE services, to the corresponding zone school.

Transportation to the designated MLE zone school is provided at the elementary school level if students live more than 1 mile from the designated school, at the middle school level if students live more than 2.5 miles from the designated school, and at the high school if students live more than 2.5 miles from the designated school.
